WOW I am Still in Shock!!!

I woke up at 5:00am this Saturday Morning and cannot sleep!!! I think I am having my midlife crisis right now.....Just kidding, I am just so excited we get to bring two basketball players in this great world. I will train them all my life to become the first good twin basketball players in the NBA. We know there are others in the NBA, but they are scrubs. Not like the scrubs that nurses wear, scrubs like people who think they can play basketball, but can't. (Like Craig Fife)

Well here is the story how we found out. We were holding hands and walking to the hospital. We entered the hospital doors and an old lady said Cassie had to register. Turns out Cassie already was registered. Maybe that changed our fates because I started to mock that old lady. Not to her face, but yeah thats me. Then Cassie was all flustered trying to make sure all was correct on her forms and forgot to sign them, until I reminded her.

Then they called Cassandra Fife and I took her hand as we stood up. We walked with the fun nurse lady to the room that changed our life's forever.

Cassie lifted up her shirt, no not that far, only enough to show her belly. Randy come on, don't think like that. But anyways and I apologize to my other readers Randy is a little funny. Ok...the nurse lady rubbed warm stuff on and put the little reading thingy to the belly of Cassie. And then she asked if this was our first ultrasound. We said yes. She said There are two tiny creatures that are living in your belly. I was like creatures, like from another world. No, no she said. Like little human beings, boy I was relieved.

When we heard the news Cassie was so happy and so was I. A little shocked yes, but we couldn't more happy.

This is how happy my mom Teresa was when she heard the news...Wow mom, love that smile!!!

Fun on the Quads

David and Cassie love to have fun. Some people might find that we are..... "weird" but we have fun and make each other laugh, and that is all that REALLY matters.

This is us going four wheeling up at Duck Creek in Utah in the summer of 2006. WE are with Cassie's childhood friend Amber, and her husband Reed Taylor. What is funny about these pictures is that you wouldn't think that just moments before Cassie totally biffed it, and tipped her quad. She couldn't push it back over, so the boys had to come to the rescue! Just another classic "Cassie" moment.
